We have been awarded two grants from Skills for Care to deliver the following training programmes:
Fully Funded Essential Training
Fully Funded Essential Training is designed to help employers focus on their recruitment and retention without the additional worry of training costs at a time when every business is seeing increases.
Initially, the grant was awarded in 2020 in response to COVID-19 to relieve the pressures training and recruitment were having within the sector. Unfortunately, this programme is still required to help with ongoing recruitment and retention across adult social care in England.

- Rapid Induction Training
- Volunteers Learning Programme
- Eight Refresher Courses
The eligibility for this programme is that you must be a registered social care provider in England and have a valid ASC-WDS account, which is up to date. All learners must be employed and in England when accessing the training. Please speak to us to find out any applicable learner limits or restrictions.
Fully Funded Management Training
Skills for Care has funded six licensed management programmes to help with career development and retention within the sector. Unfortunately, each year, social care experiences a churn of experienced workers, including managers and other leaders in roles. There are many varying reasons; however, lack of career progression and development is a high contender for those wishing to leave.

- Understanding Performance Management
- Understanding Self-management Skills
- Understanding Workplace Culture
