What are the benefits of completing one of these courses?

What’s the Well Led programme?
The Well Led programme is aimed at managers who are currently working in Adult Social Care settings. Managers in both private and public sectors are eligible for this programme. The goal is to give managers an idea of what makes management well-led. The programme covers four modules:
- Know yourself
- Leading a successful service
- Leading high performing teams
- Leading in and beyond the boundaries of your service
You will start with understanding yourself and reflecting on your own personality as a leader. You go on to assess your current service and come up with ideas on how to improve it. In the third module it’s all about your team – understanding their characteristics and learning how you can lead them into becoming a high performing team. The last module helps you understand the systems and policies in Adult Social Care.
What is the Lead to Succeed programme?
The Lead to Succeed programme complements the Manager Induction Standards and the Level 4 Certificate in Principles of Leadership and Management in Adult Care. By focussing on different elements of care leadership, it empowers managers and helps them to implement the newly learned strategies in their daily work. This programme is suitable for existing managers, nursing staff, new managers, team leaders and supervisors. Lead to Succeed covers five key areas:
- Successful behaviours for leaders and managers
- Developing a positive culture
- Effective supervision
- Leading and managing the process of change
- Leading and managing the inspection process
